Lobbyists for the film and music industries have been calling for a new ‘data tax’ for Canadians who use the internet.
Canadians already pay taxes on their cable bills.
We’re already forced to pay into cultural subsidy funds.
And we already pay directly for streaming services like Netflix.
We the undersigned call on your government not to impose a new data tax on internet use.
